DONALDSON, Judge.

Anthony Scott House (“the husband”) appeals and Lee Anne House (“the wife”) cross-appeals from a divorce judgment of the Monroe Circuit Court (“the trial court”) entered following a trial. The judgment ordered the husband to pay the wife alimony in gross. The husband filed a postjudgment motion pursuant to Rule 59, Ala. R. Civ.
