Shuman, a dentist in Cincinnati, Ohio, filed an action in the Kenton Quarterly Court against petitioner, William Doyle and his wife seeking the recovery of a judgment against them for $180, the amount of alleged professional services rendered to petitioner’s wife and codefendant, Ann Doyle.
