This case arises out of a controversy concerning the sale of a bar and restaurant known as Joe’s Steakhouse.

The appellant, Edith A. Meek, and her late husband, Phillip G. Meek, purchased the property in October 1970. In 1975 the Meeks sold the property to the defendants Joseph and Sylvia Gratzfeld on a contract. Under the contract, the Meeks retained title until the Gratzfelds had made all of the installment payments. The sale included both the real estate and the personal property associated with the business.
