Nichols, claiming that she suffered illness as a result of consuming substantially the entire contents of a bottle of coca-cola which contained a foreign substance, brought this suit against the Louisiana Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Ltd. for the recovery of damages in the sum of $2,000.00.
