Nixon Lazard appeals the trial court’s order denying his motion to compel the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to issue a certifícate of eligibility to seal' his criminal history record under section 943.059(2), Florida Statutes (2016). Because the FDLE erroneously denied* Lazard’s application for the certifícate, we reverse.
