Plaintiff, Abraham Cooper, seeks damages in the amount of $745.40 representing a claim for lost baggage, namely, a golf bag and its contents. Plaintiff testified that he booked passage for himself and his baggage with defendant, Delta Air Lines, on Flight 1072, June 19, 1975, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to New York; that he was issued Receipt No. 61-908 by defendant, Delta (representing lost baggage); that he was unable to get on the flight at Delta, although his baggage went through Delta Air Lines.
