Pending before the Court is Plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment. The Royal Bank of Canada brings this suit for recognition and enforcement of a judgment entered by default in the Court of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Alberta, Judicial District of Calgary, on October 11, 1978. On that date a judgment in the amount of $250,000.00 plus interest and costs was entered against Trentham Corporation of Texas.
