BELLINGER, District Judge.
The most important question in these cases, and one that is common to them all, is the question whether a seaman can acquire a lien on a vessel by reason of services rendered while employed by a receiver who has charge of such vessel, and is employing it in navigation under the orders of the court appointing him.
