First Properties, L.L.C., appeals from a final judgment entered against it in an action filed by JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association. We affirm.

Factual and Procedural Background

On October 19, 1998, the Jefferson County fire district of Forestdale conducted a foreclosure sale on property located at 933 Heflin Avenue East in Birmingham. At the time of the sale, Ruthia Cullen Dumas held duly recorded title to the property.
