Following a bench trial, the trial court found appellant, Donald Brown, guilty of carrying a pistol without a license (“CPWL”), possession of an unregistered firearm (“UF”), and unlawful possession of ammunition (“UA”). On appeal, appellant argues that the trial court erroneously denied his motion to suppress because the police violated the Fourth Amendment when they: (1) stopped, seized, and attempted to frisk him without reasonable articulable suspicion; and (2) conducted a warrantless frisk and search of his jacket after they removed it from his person when he attempted…
