OPINION AND ORDER
BERTELSMAN, District Judge.
This matter is before the court on the applications of numerous plaintiffs' and objectors’ attorneys for an award of attorney’s fees under the equitable common fund-common benefit doctrine, following settlement of this shareholders' derivative action. See generally, H. Newberg, Attorney Fee Awards, § 2.01 (1986). Understandably, the movants suggest a “lodestar” approach to the fee award issue, since they have all logged a cornucopia of hours and expenses.
