The appellants, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Bur-ford, appeal from their convictions following a joint jury trial in the superior court for the offense of larceny committed in a building. Appellants contend that it was error for the state to use two uncounselled misdemeanor convictions to impeach the credibility of the defendant Hal Burford. 1
