Ap*834peal from a judgment of the County Court of St. Lawrence County (Nicandri, J.), rendered December 19, 1994, upon a verdict convicting defendant of four counts of the crime of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Following a jury trial in November 1994, defendant was convicted of four counts of sexual abuse in the first degree committed on July 28, 1989, when he subjected his two seven-year-old nieces to sexual contact (1) by forcible compulsion and (2) at a time when they were less than 11 years of age.
