The instant appeal stems from the suspension and subsequent discharge of the plaintiff, Bernard Jackson, by the defendant, the Civil Service Commission of Illinois, from his position as a resident counselor with the Illinois Department of Corrections. Pursuant to the provisions of the Administrative Review Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 127, par. 63b111a), the plaintiff sought judicial review of the defendant’s determination.
