1. Under the evidence adduced and the defendant’s statement, the court did not err in instructing the jury upon the law of voluntary manslaughter.

It was not reversible error to instruct the jury as follows: “There are certain general principles of law that, according to the opinion of the court, it is entirely proper should be given for the consideration of the jury in investigations of any and all criminal eases, of whatever nature, character, and kind.
