This is an appeal from a judgment, of the county court of St. Clair County, overruling objections and confirming a special assessment roll. The judgment was entered upon the application of the City of East St. Louis for the confirmation of special assessments made against the lands and lots of appellants and others named in the assessment roll, to pay the cost of grading, paving and sewering Broadway, a street in that city, as provided for and contemplated by ordinance No. 583 passed by the common council of said city.
