Carlos Lopez and his brother, Rafael Lopez, appeal from judgments of conviction entered by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (John Gleeson, Judge). Following a two-week trial, a jury convicted both defendants of racketeering conspiracy in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1962(d) (Count I) and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine base in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (Count II).
