In this original proceeding, the State of Texas, through David P. Weeks, the Criminal District Attorney of Walker County, as Relator, seeks mandamus relief against the Respondent, the Honorable Kenneth Keeling, Judge of the 278th District Court of Walker County. It arises out of the trial proceeding in the criminal prosecution of John Ray Falk, Jr., the Real Party in Interest, for capital murder.
