LATTIMOKE, Judge.

— Appellant was convicted in the district court of Parker county of transporting intoxicating liquor, and his punishment fixed at one year in the penitentiary.

There appears no dispute possible under the facts but that a large quantity of whisky was being transported in appellant’s car from some point in Palo Pinto county to the city of Fort Worth. After his arrest and proper warning, appellant made a written statement, which was introduced in evidence against him on his trial, in which he said that another man came to his home in Palo Pinto county and offered him $50.00 to…
