This writ of error was awarded to review the judgment of the intermediate court of Kanawha county rendered June 2d, 1922, sentencing the defendant to five years confinement in the penitentiary on conviction for voluntary manslaughter, under an indictment returned by the grand jury of that county January 10th, 1922, charging her with the murder of Dovie Edds in Kanawha county, October 24th, 1921 ; *49such judgment Raving been affirmed by the circuit court of said county. '
