This is an appeal by the state from the grant of the defendant’s motion to suppress in a prosecution for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on July 6,1989, Officer Jenkins of the Gwinnett County Police Department received a telephone call from an individual previously unknown to him who professed to know a person named David who was dealing in cocaine.
