Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Kron, J.), rendered June 14, 2005, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends that the Supreme Court erred in denying his Batson challenges (see Batson v Kentucky, 476 US 79 [1986]) with respect to the prosecutor’s use of peremptory challenges to exclude four prospective jurors based on their race.
