At his death deceased had a controlling interest in a corporation which in turn owned all of the capital stock of a' realty company which had the legal title to a parcel of property, improved by an apartment house. In August, 1932, the property' in question was subject to three mortgages. The last in point of hen was owned by the claimant here.
