On February 15, 1983, Pioneer National Title Insurance Company and Ticor Title Insurance Company, successor of Pioneer Title Insurance Company (collectively Pioneer), sued C. Richard Cranwell and Barry L. Flora, trading as Pedigo, Cranwell & Flora, attorneys at law (collectively the Pedigo Firm), for breach of an approved attorney agreement and breach of certain disbursing instructions regarding a $2.55 million loan.
