REID, Judge.
Plaintiff, Charles O. Sullivan, a contractor brought this suit against Mrs. Thalia Fay Carpenter, a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana for the sum of $1043.50 being the alleged balance due on certain repairs to be done to a house owned by Mrs. Carpenter in the City of Denham Springs.
The original contract was for $1320.00 but Mrs. Carpenter becoming dissatisfied, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an arrangement by which plaintiff gave up the job and after an estimate on the floor work, which the defendant wanted done on the premises, of $276.50 plaintiff credited the…
