This opinion is dispositive of three cases. Procedurally, we are presented with (1) an appeal from a judgment and sentence entered after a jury verdict finding defendant guilty of two counts of aiding and abetting grand larceny (case No. 37890); (2) an appeal from a denial of a writ of habeas corpus (case No. 38136); and (3) an original application for a writ of habeas corpus (case No. 37957).
