Leticia Gutierrez Fonseca, Juan Manuel Fonseca, and Delia Gomez were indicted for aggravated possession (between 200 and 2,000 pounds) of marihuana. Delia Gomez is not a party to this appeal.

On January 29, 1986, appellants, Leticia Gutierrez Fonseca and Juan Manuel Fonse-ca, pleaded not guilty to the indictment. On February 12, 1986, the trial court heard and denied appellants’ motions to suppress and “Exceptions To The Indictments.” On February 17, 1986, prior to trial commencing, appellants withdrew their not guilty pleas, entered pleas of guilty,…
