O’QUINN, Justice.

Appellee Zellee Pruitt, joined by her husband, A. C. Pruitt, brought this suit in trespass to try title against appellant Virginia Hightower, and Helen Newton and her husband, S. Y. Newton, to recover a tract of one acre of land situated in Jefferson county. Appellant Virginia Hightower answered by general demurrer, special exceptions, general denial, plea of not guilty, and specially that she was a niece of Line Pruitt, deceased, a former wife of A. C.
