This was a writ of error to a judgment of the Corporation Court of the city of Norfolk, in an action of ejectment, and involves the title to a lot of ground within or near the present limits of the city of Norfolk. At the first trial, at the October term, 1893, there was a verdict for the plaintiffs, which the defendants moved the court to set aside because contrary to the law and the evidence, and because the court had misdirected the jury in the instructions given for the plaintiffs.
