Defendants in error, plaintiffs below, commenced this action before the board of county commissioners on the 29th day of ‘September, 1919, by filing, through their attorney, an affidavit of erroneous assessment, setting forth in said affidavit that the north half of the north half of the southeast half and the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter and the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter, of section 17, township 2, north, range 4 east, containing 90 acres, had been erroneously placed on the ferret tax rolls for taxes for the years…
