In a matrimonial action, the defendant husband appeals from a Qualified Domestic Relations Order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Henry, J.), dated May 29, 1996, which, inter alia, directed his pension fund to pay the plaintiff wife the sum of $695.64 per month from the defendant husband’s disability pension.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The defendant joined the New York State Retirement System on January 29, 1973. The parties were married on May 6, 1978. The defendant retired on March 12, 1990, on an “accidental disability (Section 363)” pension, with a “service credit”…
