11 This appeal arises from an employee suit in which Christopher Washington alleged that his former employer, Landry’s Seafood House (“Landry’s”), failed to pay final wages within the time period mandated by La. R.S. 23:631. After de novo review, we find no error in the trial court’s judgment granting Landry Seafood’s motion for summary judgment. We also find no error in the trial court’s judgment denying Mr. Washington’s motion for new trial. We affirm the trial court judgments on the motion for summary judgment and motion for new trial.
