We granted Laibe Corporation’s (“Laibe”) application for interlocutory appeal to review the trial court’s denial of a motion to dismiss General Pump & Well, Inc.’s (“General”) complaint for, inter alia, *828improper venue and lack of personal jurisdiction. For the reasons set forth infra, we vacate the trial court’s denial of Laibe’s motion to dismiss and remand with direction.

The record reflects that General is a Georgia corporation and Laibe is an Indiana corporation. In May 2008, General filed a complaint against Laibe concerning the March 2005 purchase of a water-well drilling…
