OPINION

CLINTON, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of capital murder committed in the course of aggravated rape. V.T.C.A. Penal Code, § 19.03(a)(2). Pursuant to V.T. C.A. Penal Code, § 8.07(d) and Article 37.- • 071(e), V.A.C.C.P., appellant's punishment was assessed at life confinement.

In his first ground of error, appellant contends the district court did not have jurisdiction over the person tried and convicted in this cause. Specifically appellant claims that after the juvenile court waived its jurisdiction and transferred the cause to district court, he did not…
