WOLLMAN, Circuit Judge.
John Wayne Stephens appeals from the district court’s 1 order affirming the decision of the Secretary of Health and Human Services to deny Stephens disability benefits. We affirm.

Stephens filed his current application for disability benefits on February 22, 1991. Stephens was 52 years old at the time he filed this application alleging that he became disabled as a result of a tree falling across the left side of his body on February 20, 1990.
