This is an action instituted by Caldwell & Drake in the circuit court of Pulaski County against John R. Jobe, Auditor of the State, praying for a writ of mandamus commanding that official to issue to them a warrant on the State Treasury for the sum- of $18,899.54 in payment of vouchers issued by the State Capitol Commission, aggregating that sum, on their contract for constructing a new State Capitol building.
