Appellee, John Uphoff, filed his bill in equity in the circuit court of Peoria county on January 26, 1928, to quiet title to certain lands in Peoria county. The appellant, the Trustees of Tufts College, a corporation, was made a party defendant, with others. Answers were filed and the cause was referred to the master in chancery, who found the equities were with the defendants, and recommended a dismissal of the bill of complaint for want of equity.
