The appellant, J. H. La Fond, plaintiff below, filed this suit in one of the district courts of Harris county against appellee, Wm. Parr & Co., to recover damages for personal injuries alleged by appellant to have been sustained by him in consequence of certain negligence on 'the part of appellee while appellant was in the employ of appellee on Decembér 31, 1926.
