FABE, Justice.

I. INTRODUCTION

In April 1992 Louis R. (Bob) and Tarie Lacher filed for dissolution of marriage and entered into a property settlement agreement that was incorporated into their dissolution decree. The parties agreed that Tarie would receive the marital home and the majority of the parties’ other property. Several months later, the parties reconciled and continued to live together, unmarried, for over two more years.
