MOREMEN, Judge.
This case presents the question of whether an action for alimony may be successfully maintained after an absolute divorce has been granted.
Appellant, James Reynierson, brought suit for divorce against his wife, Nancy Reynierson, appellee. Appellee filed answer, but set up no claim for alimony. After a judgment was entered granting to appellant an absolute divorce, appellee filed *253a complaint in which she alleged that an oral contract had been made by which her husband had agreed to pay the sum of $200 per month as permanent alimony.
