This is an action for personal injuries Sn the nature of bodily burns allegedly ■suffered on August 4, 1960, as a result ■of a gas explosion which occurred while plaintiff was attempting to light an automatic gas hot water heater in the basement of her home. It is alleged that defendant, Robertshaw-Fulton Controls •Company, manufactured the gas control •device on the hot water heater and that the hot water heater with the gas control .assembly incorporated as a part thereof was manufactured by the defendant, Rheem Manufacturing Company.
