Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Madison County (McDermott, J.), entered August 9, 2016, which granted petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 3, to adjudicate respondent a juvenile delinquent.
Petitioner commenced this juvenile delinquency proceeding alleging that respondent (born in 2003) had committed acts which, if committed by an adult, would constitute the crimes of sexual abuse in the first degree (see Penal Law § 130.65) and endangering the welfare of a child (see Penal Law § 260.10).
