OPINION AND ORDER
STANTON, District Judge.
Respondent Daniel Avraham seeks confirmation, pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§ 1-15, and the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, 9 U.S.C. §§ 201-08, of an arbitration award rendered by a three-member American Arbitration Association panel on April 5,1989 in New York, New York (the “Award”). Av-raham also seeks both pre- and post-judgment interest on the Award, and attorneys’ fees.
