The defendant has brought this cause to this court by appeal from a judgment of the circuit court of Howell county, convicting him of forgery in the third degree.
The prosecuting attorney of Howell county, on July 26, 1909, filed in the circuit court of said county an amended information containing one count, charging defendant with having forged, counterfeited, falsely made and altered a certain check on the 31st day of May, 1907, under the name of F.
