— On August 7, 1891, a suit in attachment was commenced in the Lake Circuit Court by the Chicago Machine and Power Company, against the National Forge and Iron Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Illinois, with its principal place of business at Chicago in said State, but also operating a large establishment at East Chicago, Indiana, and the property of the defendant at the last named place was levied on.
