Cross appeals from an order of the Supreme Court (Demarest, J.), entered November 18, 1997 in St. Lawrence County, which, inter alia, denied plaintiffs motion for leave to serve an amended complaint and, sua sponte, reinstated a note of issue that had been previously stricken.
