The defendant, Larry Witted, was charged by information with having committed the offenses of attempt murder and armed robbery on April 17, 1976. Following the trial, the jury returned verdicts finding the defendant guilty of attempt murder, armed robbery, and aggravated battery. Judgment was entered on the attempt murder and armed robbery charges and verdict findings. The defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of 10 to 30 years for attempt murder and 5 to 15 years for armed robbery.
