The issue involved in this local property tax matter is the value of 34 vacant lots, aggregating approximately 120 acres, located along or near the bank of the Raritan River in Edison Township, New Jersey. The property in question consists of separately assessed lots, some of which are contiguous. All of the lots are located in Blocks 399 and 400 as designated on the tax map of Edison Township.
