This was an action commenced by the Central Loan & Trust Company, a corporation, against the Campbell Commission Company, a corporation, in tbe district court of Noble county, upon a promissory note for the sum of $15,000 with interest, which note was originally given by the Campbell Commission Company to Clark & Plumb, and by them assigned to the Central Loan & Trust Company, plaintiff: At the time of the commencement of the action the note was not due, and in the absence of the district judge from the county, application was made to the probate judge for…
