This is an original action in quo warranto brought by the state of Kansas on relation of the attorney-general against the board of county commissioners of Shawnee county, county treasurer and the tax commissioners of the state of Kansas, in which the state complains of the official attitude and conduct of the defendants in their refusal to exempt from taxation property belonging to minor children of a deceased soldier of .the world war in the hands of their guardian, which was received from the United States government through the…
